LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Indiana Pacers are trying to capture the franchise's first NBA Championship.

Thursday night, the Pacers will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game One of the NBA Finals. The Pacers have never won a championship, and it has been 25 years since the team made it to the finals.

Ahead of tipoff, Indiana Gov. Mike Braun is making a wager on his state's team.

In a post on social media, Braun called out Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt.

Braun said he believes the Indiana Pacers will the NBA Championship this year, and if the team wins, Stitt is going to get a big package of pork products from the Smoking Goose Meatery.

Stitt responded, saying OKC will bring home the victory, and put some Oklahoma steaks on the line as well.

Game One is scheduled for Thursday at 8:30 p.m. on ABC.
