LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Mothers were also the focus of a special event in Paristown Sunday.
The Paristown Mother's Day Craft market in Christy's Garden featured more than 30 local vendors selling handmade gifts, fresh flowers, honey and crafts.
The free event was pet friendly and the famous Kroger Fresh Express train was giving rides.
Families who enjoy brunch and lunch at one of several places including The Cafe.
"First off, the weather is perfect so I wanted to do something outside today," shopper Danielle Picken said. "My husband had to work this morning so my sister saw this on Instagram and was like 'oh, do you want to come with me and I was like yeah, this sounds awesome' and it has been really cute."
