Part of State Road 11 in Harrison County to close next week for culvert work through August

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A portion of State Road 11 in Harrison County, Indiana, is expected to close next week for a culvert replacement.

The stretch of road is located approximately 2.4 miles north of State Road 211, between Morgans Lane and Lotticks Corner Road, is scheduled to close Monday, June 29, according to a release from the Indiana Department of Transportation.

It is expected to reopen in mid-August, weather permitting.

INDOT recommends drivers use the official detour route, which follows State Road 62 to Interstate 64, then to Exit 119. Drivers will then take State Road 111 before heading onto State Road 211.

A portion of State Road 211 is currently closed for its own culvert replacements, but that is expected to reopen before work on this project begins.
