LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A person was killed in a single vehicle crash in southwest Jefferson County on Sunday afternoon, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD Sgt. Matt Sanders said police responded to a crash on Lower River Road near Greenbelt Highway around 2:15 p.m. Police said a vehicle crashed into an LG&E pole.
A passenger in the vehicle died at the scene. Two other people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Sanders.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating the crash. LG&E responded to the crash, according to Sanders.
