LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A crash on Preston Highway Friday evening has knocked out power for some in the area.Â
According to MetroSafe, the crash happened around 5:41 p.m. on Preston Highway near East Indian Trail involving a Jefferson County Public School bus No. 1168 and another vehicle. The crash knocked out power to some in the area.
A JCPS spokesperson said there were no students on the bus and were no injuries they were aware of.
In an update about 7:15 p.m., MetroSafe confirmed Preston Highway near East Indian Trail is closed in both directions while LG&E crews work to restore power.Â
According to the LG&E outage map, about 120 customers are without power with a restoration time of 10 p.m.Â
MetroSafe said the road is expected to reopen Saturday morning.
