LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A local basketball start chose the perfect day to host a pool day high up over downtown Louisville.
Former UofL basketball star Russ Smith and his Mr. and Mrs. Bourbon brand threw a pool party several floors up at the Omni Hotel.
There was a DJ and the Omni's chef was there creating some bites and dishes.
Sunday's party launched the "Sunday Soak Series" with giveaways and bourbon tastings.
This was the second year of the event.
"There's a really good vibe right now of people at the pool just kicking back, enjoying the weather, I think there is no better place to do it at than here," Smith said.
