LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Shively firefighter was injured battling a warehouse fire early Monday morning. Â
In a release, Shively Fire Chief Col. Charles D. Mucker said crews were called along with Louisville Division of Fire just after 1 a.m. to Wholesale Jim's on Dixie Highway, which is just south of Farnsley Road.Â
When firefighters arrived, they found heavy fire in the one story building. One firefighter with minor injuries was taken to the hospital for observation.
It took 25 firefighters less than 15 minutes to control the flames. No other injuries were were reported.Â
The Louisville Fire Department Arson Unit is investigating.Â
