LOUISVILLE, Ky - A southwest Louisville park is getting a major makeover. Councilwoman Cindi Fowler announced the Sun Valley Park Improvement Plan at Saturday's Southwest Community festival.
The improvements will include walking paths, a playground, tennis and basketball courts.
As part of $200,000 commitment, LG&E will build a permanent stage in front of the park.
Councilwoman Fowler will also use the funds to repair the park's courts and soccer field.
The project is expected to be completed by next summer.
