LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Tennessee woman was killed in a crash on Interstate 71 in Carroll County, Kentucky, early Monday.

Kentucky State Police said the crash happened Sept. 3 around 5:20 a.m. 

State police said a Ford C-Max, driven by Cassandra Walker, 75, of Nashville, Tennessee, was going north on I-71 when she rear-ended a Ford pickup truck.

Walker veered off the road and hit the rear end of a disabled commercial vehicle on the right shoulder. KSP said Walker was pronounced dead at the scene.

KSP Post 5 in Campbellsville is investigating the crash.
