LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The University of Kentucky is requiring students to get a flu shot.
It started giving the mandated shots Sunday for all graduate and undergraduate students.
The university said it is requiring the flu shot this season because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The flu can spread easily on campus, and the flu and coronavirus symptoms mimic each other.
Health experts say getting both COVID-19 and the flu could be devastating.
