Victim identified in weekend shooting in Russell neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 53-year-old man has been identified as the victim of a shooting in west Louisville on Saturday.

Mark Cotton died of multiple gunshot wounds, according to Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Steve Moran. Cotton was found just after 5:30 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of South 28th Street near West Market Street.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
