LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A water main break early Thursday morning closed several lanes of Brownsboro Road.
The Louisville Water Company said in a release that Metro Public Works notified it about 2:30 a.m. of a possible water main break near Blankenbaker Lane near the Windy Hills neighborhood.
Part of the road buckled from the broken pipe, which was being repaired. One lane of Brownsboro Road remains open in the area.
Water is on for nearby residents, but LWC said there may be temporary disruptions. There is no information on when repairs will be complete.
