Officers were called to a report that a pedestrian had been hit on Gilmore Lane at Preston Highway around 11 p.m.
Collision data from Kentucky State Police shows a total of 628 hit-and-run pedestrian-related crashes in Jefferson County over the last five years. Of those, 67 people were killed.
