When officers arrived, they found a man inside the home shot in the chest.

Two males were shot about a block away from each other on Brashear Drive early Thursday morning.

William Irvin was arrested on a warrant after a foot pursuit with police in the 1400 block of Dixie Highway on Wednesday.

Detectives are working to find out what led to the shooting and what a possible motive could be.

The woman was transported to UofL Hospital, and Sanders said she is expected to survive. 

According to LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis, officers received a call shortly after 11:00 p.m. on Sunday evening of a reported shooting in the parking lot at 7th Street and Algonquin Parkway.
