The apartment complex is located at Brooklawn and Blanton in the Pleasure Ridge Park area.

Ja'Ceon Terry died on July 17 while in the care of the Uspiritus-Brooklawn Child and Family Services center in Louisville.

The coroner's office says the cause of death was asphyxia and ruled it a homicide.

A spokesperson for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services said several investigations were opened Sunday, but couldn't provide any additional details.

They are being given to children at the Home of the Innocents, Brooklawn and Volunteers of America.
