According to Clark County Sheriff Assistant Chief Mark Grube, Kayla Luellen and Scotty "Jordan" Binion, both of Madison, Indiana, are suspected in several storage unit burglaries.
"This is a huge criminal enterprise that we have uncovered," an Elizabethtown Police spokesperson said.
The agency said that between midnight and 4 a.m. on Sept. 24 Thursday, “multiple” people entered the Walgreens locations and stole “numerous” items, including drugs.
Around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, several homes and cars in Scipio’s Green Acres neighborhood were burglarized. The burglar got away with guns, a compound bow, keys and a purse.
Conrad said if the department becomes understaffed, the decision could be revisited.
The sheriff's department said they may be behind several recent burglaries in the Clarksville area, including one at a storage facility.
The man and woman could face additional charges for area burglaries.
