This is the first mother-daughter team to be inducted together since the hall of fame started.

The Lesley & Rhyan Prather Foundation and Shirley's Way are partnering to fund the installation of the boxes at the Louisville and Pleasure Ridge Park fire departments in 2024.

Many family members were in attendance on Thursday for the court dedication. 

Lesley Prather was a Louisville firefighter.

Loved ones are working to show it's possible something positive can come from such deep loss.

Justin Prather lost his wife Lesley and his 12-year-old daughter, Rhyan in a crash just outside St. Louis last February. They were on their way to a volleyball tournament in Kansas City. 

Volunteers with the Lesley and Rhyan Prather Foundation delivered donations to Norton Women and Children's Hospital on Tuesday.

Family and friends have set up the Lesley and Rhyan Prather Foundation to help women, children, and families in need and eventually create scholarships.

A truck with Engine Company 22 of the Louisville Division of Fire will take part in the procession in honor of Lesley Prather, who began working at the Louisville Division of Fire in October 2016.
