While most of Kentucky and Indiana are in the low-risk category when it comes to COVID-19 levels, some areas are still seeing higher levels.
This comes as the state's positivity rate fell from 33.6% on Jan. 19, to 13.1% on Wednesday.
The restrictions come as tests are becoming more in demand amid rising COVID case numbers across the nation.
Holcomb said he continues to talk about the pandemic every day and urging vaccinations as the best way to prevent hospitalizations and deaths.
Clark County Health Officer Dr. Eric Yazel said for the first time since the pandemic began, online county data showed zero new positive COVID-19 cases one day this week.
The state health department also reported 43 additional virus-related deaths in the state on Saturday.
The health department said 9,317 Hoosiers have died from the virus since the start of the pandemic.
The Indiana State Department of Health on Thursday reported 3,733 new cases and 64 more deaths in which the virus was a contributing factor.
The report brings the state's total confirmed infections to 558,560 since the start of the pandemic, according to a news release from the Indiana State Department of Health.
More than 7,000 Hoosiers have died from the virus since the pandemic began.
