Records show a Louisville man was locked up for months on charges stemming from a violent crime he didn't commit because he shared the same name as the suspect, a mistake that's drawn scrutiny from the Louisville Office of Inspector General.
The party, at the home of Maj. Shannon Lauder and her husband, Lt. Jeff Lauder, has come under public scrutiny in recent weeks after an officer filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the department and the Lauders, claiming they were "grossly inappropriate" in making sexual comments and advances toward her.
The Domestic Violence Unit is investigating and all parties have been accounted for.
The woman was found by officers about 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
When police arrived, they found Kaniah Vinson injured.
