Tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led to the arrest of two southern Indiana men for possessing child pornography in two separate cases.

The New Albany Police Department said it happened just before 10 p.m. near The Earl on 108 East Market Street.

Both recent cases have one thing in common: the victims were trying their best to get away from their abusers. 

It's unclear how Reid and Linson initially met.

Indiana State Police arrested Charles Norris, 31, on Thursday.

He is also facing three misdemeanor charges for criminal trespass, interference in reporting a crime and harassment.

Police said Shaveon Boyd fired several shots at another man who was seriously injured when he jumped from a second floor window to escape. 

A 29-year-old man was arrested in connection to a fatal shooting earlier this month in Louisville's Taylor Berry neighborhood.
