La Grange Police Chief Greg Collett said the department would lose officers if it didn't raise its salaries.

The license for Kentucky Recovery, formerly Kentucky Mental Health Care, was granted Feb. 1.

Baptist Health announced the new facility on Thursday.

A dedication ceremony for the park was held Friday evening.

Kentucky Mental Health Care offers a variety of mental health services ranging from therapy, psychiatry, general practice, medication assisted treatment (MAT) and more.

Mayor John Black said the project will be a bright spot for the town during difficult times. 

The city's mayor hopes the new idea will bring more visitors and shoppers to the historic downtown shopping area.
