Kammerer Middle Schools is the first middle school in the United States to meet National Career Academy Coalition standards.

At least two students were charged and will be disciplined in accordance with JCPS policies.
The bus driver continued on the route as other students watched, screamed and recorded it with their cell phones. The punches continued for more than a minute.
Some buses could be running two hours behind.

A JCPS spokeswoman said parents had been notified and the schools were working to create hotspots for phone service.
