Although some of the protests turned violent, the movement has led to positive changes in the community that continue today. 

The Kentucky Prosecutors Advisory Council declined to appoint a new special prosecutor in the Breonna Taylor case last week. 

The group addressed, point-by-point, several changes and potential Louisville Metro Police policies shifts that came from the settlement.

The organizations said Louisville leaders should look at defending, reforming, rebuilding and reconstructing the police department. 

The Kentucky Alliance is calling for a transparent investigation into Taylor's death and for the officers involved to be fired and charged.
