A man was hospitalized after a crash on Interstate 65 South in Louisville.

Preliminary investigation indicates a 16-year-old girl was attempting to cross Cane Run Road from west to east near Teakwood Circle when she was struck by two southbound vehicles.

No other vehicles were involved.

Louisville Metro Police officers were called to a multi-car crash in the 10300 block of Preston Highway, at Maple Spring Drive, just after 8 p.m. Friday.

It is believed that the man was traveling eastbound on Shelbyville Road when he lost control of the vehicle and went off the road.
