A 66-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly shot a man and hit another man with a gun earlier this month at Shawnee Park.

They were pronounced deceased on the scene.

The shooting happened on the afternoon of Sept. 15 on South Fourth Street. 

A 26-year-old man was charged with murder two weeks after a double shooting left one person dead on Dixie Highway near Valley Station.

Two men were taken to the hospital after being shot in the Parkland neighborhood Sunday afternoon, according to Louisville Metro Police.

They both were taken to Norton Children's Hospital and are expected to be okay.

The shooting happened at 11:40 a.m. June 8 at the park on Cypress Street.

Officers were called to the reported shooting in the 6000 block of Bristol Bluffs Circle at 2:50 p.m. Friday.

The shooting happened on Sept. 29.
