LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people, including a teen girl, were hospitalized after a shooting in Louisville's Jacobs neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon.

Aaron Ellis, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded about 3:40 p.m. to the 3700 block of Craig Avenue on a reported shooting.

According to police, a teen girl, believed to be 17 years old, suffered a graze wound.

Police said another victim, a male whose age is unknown, was found in the 3600 block of Wheeler Avenue with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Both victims were taken to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives believe the shooting may have actually happened in the 3700 block of Kahlert Avenue.

"We understand that there may have been social media traffic or radio traffic that this incident happened at a bus stop," Ellis said in a news release. "As of this writing, there is nothing to collaborate that."
