Fire officials said crews from Anchorage-Middletown Fire & EMS and St. Matthews Fire responded to the 11200 block of Coventry Greens Drive just before noon Friday on a reported house fire.

Officials say smoke alarms were present in the home, but it’s unclear if they were working at the time of the fire.

Eight people inside the home evacuated before crews arrived at the scene.

Crews responded to the 2100 block of Appleton Lane just before 2 a.m. Monday on a reported structure fire.

A man safely escaped before crews arrived, and the fire was quickly contained as investigators work to determine the cause.

The Louisville Fire Department responded to the reported fire in the 4400 block of South First Street at 2:42 p.m. Thursday.

It took 36 firefighters operating from multiple different trucks and two battalion chiefs almost an hour to gain control of the fire.

Fire officials were called to the 7200 block of Alameter Court around 2:45 a.m. on reports of a structure fire with a rescue.

When officers arrived on scene, they were met with thick, black smoke, flames billowing from the home and people crying for someone to save the children.

Two people inside the home were able to get out safely and were not injured.
