A 13-year-old was hospitalized after being shot in Louisville's Smoketown neighborhood Friday afternoon.

Chance Guthrie, 19, was convicted of manslaughter at the age of 14 for the fatal shooting of another 14-year-old. He was also charged with murder in connection with a shooting at a Shively club earlier this year.

Officers determined the shooting happened on North 35th Street.

Israyel Archie, 24, was arrested for allegedly driving the vehicle that hit the victim.
