Louisville police are investigating after a man was shot in the Algonquin neighborhood Monday afternoon.
Investigators determined the man was shot shortly prior to his arrival in the 1000 block of South 28th Street, near West Kentucky Street.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating.
Police believe the "involved parties" had a collision near Taylor Boulevard.
One person is dead and another has been hospitalized after a shooting on Dixie Highway near Valley Station Thursday afternoon.
According to LMPD spokesman John Bradley, officers responded to the 1600 block of Moore Court on a ShotSpotter call around 4 a.m. Friday.
Police said the shooting stemmed from an argument over a box of chicken.
Detectives are working to learn what led up to the shooting and what a possible motive could be.
