Snowmaking will continue as conditions allow, with the goal of adding new trails to the mix headed into the winter season.
Hundreds took advantage of the freezing weather, fresh powdery-white snow and opening week of Paoli Peaks to ski and snowboard.
Paoli Peaks opened for the 45th year on Wednesday.
The resort is looking to next season.
The resort said Friday that crews have been working to make snow at every available opportunity through the warm temperatures and rain.
Masks and online reservations are required, the resort said in a post to its Facebook page.
The ski resort in Paoli, Indiana, suspended operations Tuesday due to "unfavorably warm weather" in the region.
The resort said it won't know how its snow base will be affected by the weather until it passes.
The resort plans to open on Wednesday for skiiing and snowboarding.
The skiing area, about an hour’s drive northwest of Louisville, said on its website that snow makers “crushed it last night” and have blanketed the slopes with snow.
