The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
The crash was called in just before 11 p.m. on Thursday night.
Trevor W. Branham, 33, of Jeffersonville, was charged on four counts of wanton endangerment and one count of operating on a suspended license. A grand jury returned a “no true bill” on the felony wanton endangerment charges on Thursday.
State police said drugs and alcohol were not a factor, but the semi driver had allegedly went over his allotted hours of driving.
One driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating.
At least one person was injured.
The crash is under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
The crash happened in a construction zone about 11 a.m. on Monday.
Drivers will see detours as they exit the Kennedy Bridge.
