A Louisville man accused of driving drunk and crashing into a TARC bus stop in Shively appeared in court Monday.
The City of Shively swore in Monday evening a new chief of police and fire chief.
Residents can pick up a lock at the department's main office on Park Road from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday this week, while supplies last.
A 47-year-old man was arrested Saturday after allegedly touching and following a 14-year-old girl who was looking for her missing dog in Shively.
Officers with the Shively Police Department were called around 9:32 p.m. to the 1700 block of Kennedy Road for reports of a shooting.
The shooting occurred around 3:20 a.m. in the 2800 block of 7th Street Road.
Detectives said they recovered four to five pounds of meth, a "trafficking amount" of marijuana, four handguns and "a large sum" of cash from the suspect's home.
It happened Oct. 21, shortly after 11 a.m. in the 3900 block of 7th Street Road.
The driver was injured, but the severity of their injuries is unknown.
