Meranda Swim, 29, is accused of battering two children under the age of 14 in Jennings County.

A man died after a shooting near New Albany, Indiana, early Saturday morning.

The shooting at the festival in downtown New Albany killed 18-year-old Bryce Gerlach and injured two others. 

A 19-year-old southern Indiana man was arrested and charged with child molestation.

Police said there are no outstanding persons of interest or threat to the community.

A southern Indiana man was arrested Thursday and charged with possessing child sex abuse material.

Three men were arrested in connection to two drive-by shootings in Clarksville, Indiana. The shootings took place on Nov. 11, 2024 at the Kopp Lane Food Mart and March 26, 2025 at Rally's.

Chad G. Heishman, 36, was arrested Wednesday by Indiana State Police during a traffic stop after an investigation that was launched in April.
