LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Losing was the story of the week in men's college basketball.

Five of the top six teams in the AP men’s college basketball poll lost — to teams like Nebraska, UCF and Texas A&M.

Nine of the top 11 teams lost.

Fifteen of the Top 25 teams lost.

It’s Monday. Time to guess again.

1. UConn (15-2) — The Huskies have won five straight in the Big East without Donovan Clingan, one of their best players. Beware.

2. Auburn (14-2) — The Tigers don’t have any Top 25 wins but they have 14 victories by double figures.

3. Purdue (15-2) — The Boilermakers are looking at a two-game deficit with Wisconsin atop the Big Ten, which means they are advised not to lose at Indiana Tuesday night.

4. Houston (14-2) — Four-point loss at Iowa State. One-point loss at TCU. This isn’t the AAC any more, Cougars.

5. Kansas (14-2) — The metrics still don’t like the Jayhawks because of their No 39 ranking in offensive efficiency.

6. North Carolina (13-3) — Louisville’s next opponent has three ACC road wins in the bank.

7. Duke (13-3) — The Blue Devils have Pittsburgh at home before visiting Louisville a week from Tuesday.

8. Wisconsin (13-3) — Look who’s playing faster while opening a 2-game lead in the Big Ten?

9. Baylor (14-2) —The Bears will be on the road twice this week — Kansas State and Texas. Stay warm.

10. Kentucky (12-3) — Giving up 97 points to a Texas A&M team that had scored 108 in its previous two games is worth a discussion about John Calipari’s defense.

11. Tennessee (12-4) — The Vols have a fun week with Florida and Alabama visiting Knoxville.

12. Memphis (15-2) — That’s 10 straight wins for Penny Hardaway.

13. Dayton (13-2) — The Flyers have won 10 straight and have one of the nation’s best players in DaRon Holmes.

14. Illinois (12-4) — I didn’t have the Illini losing at home to Maryland — and I doubt Brad Underwood did either.

15. Marquette (11-5) — The Golden Eagles have lost three of their last five and don’t look like the team that soared in Honolulu.

16. Utah State (16-1) — That’s 15 straight wins for the Aggies, who face a challenge against Richard Pitino and New Mexico Tuesday night.

17. FAU (13-4) — The Owls won’t be able to show us much until March.

18. Oklahoma (13-3) — The Sooners visited TCU and Kansas. It did not go well.

19. Creighton (13-4) — The Bluejays bounced back from a two-game losing streak to win four straight.

20. TCU (13-3) — Beating Oklahoma and Houston in the same week is worth some love.

21. Texas Tech (14-2) — The Red Raiders will take a 9-game winning streak to Houston this week.

22. Oregon (13-3) — The Ducks sit atop the Pac-12 with the only unbeaten league record.

23. Iowa State (13-3) — Let’s see what the Cyclones do away from Hilton Magic against BYU and TCU this week.

24. Arizona (12-4) — Why do I keep voting the Wildcats lower than anybody in the poll? Well, they’ve lost two of their last four, three of their last six and four of their last eight — and Washington State and Stanford are not good losses.

25. Seton Hall (12-5) — If you check the Big East standings you’ll find the Pirates ties with the Huskies at the top.
