LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — For the second week in a row, a southern Indiana high school football player has been voted WDRB Sports Player of the Week.
With 61.7% of the votes, the WDRB Sports Player of the Week for Week 12 is Floyd Central linebacker Matthew Polk.

During Friday night's foggy game, it was a real-life scary scene for Evansville North as Polk blocked a punt and recovered it in the endzone for the touchdown. The Floyd Central Highlanders won 15-10.
Here's how the voting broke down:
- Polk: 61.7%
- Hayden Winn, Manual wide receiver: 33.1%
- Jackson Burke and Jeffrey Vazzana, Christian Academy of Louisville: 5.2%
