LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Another outstanding high school football player has been named WDRB Sports Player of the Week.

With a runaway 56.9% of the votes, Jason Hagan, Trinity wide receiver, has been voted WDRB Sports Player of the Week for Week 6. 

Last Friday night, Hagan scored one of two touchdowns in the first half against rival St. Xavier, as he helped secure a win over the Tigers, 35-24.

Here's how the voting broke down:

  1. Hagan: 56.9%
  2. DyMetrius Taylor, Fairdale running back: 32.7%
  3. Jeremiah Stephens, Manual linebacker: 10.4%
