LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Multiple streaks came to an end Saturday for Louisville City FC.
A 2-0 loss to the Charleston Battery at Lynn Family Stadium snapped LouCity’s 20-game regular-season streak and 26-game regular-season home streak.
This also ended LouCity’s season-opening six-game win streak, including a four-game USL Championship win streak.

"I think we were, certainly in the first half, too pedestrian, too slow with our play, playing backward too much," LouCity interim head coach Simon Bird said in a news release. "(There was) not enough intent with our play. It was better in the second half, but it was too little too late."
Charleston found the back of the net in the 20th and 65th minutes, while LouCity had just three shots on goal in the rain-soaked match.
Up next for LouCity is a road matchup Friday with Loudoun United.
