LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Pleasure Ridge Park baseball won its seventh state championship on Saturday.
The Panthers defeated McCracken County 4-1 to win the KHSAA state title in Lexington.
Kobie Howard went 3 for 3 with three runs scored while Brayden Bruner drove in two runs for the Panthers. Grayson Roll pitched a complete game, limiting McCracken County to three hits and one run while striking out two.
PRP scored in the first inning to take an early lead. The Panthers added another run in the third inning as McCracken County was held scoreless.
PRP added two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.
