LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville women's basketball forward Nyla Harris will enter the transfer portal, according to a report from On3Sports.

The 6-foot-2-inch junior from Orlando, Florida, averaged 7.4 points per game over her three-year career. Her highest scoring output was 10.4 points per game as a sophomore. She averaged 8.8 points as a junior in the season just completed, scoring in double digits in 14 games but averaging only 2.6 points over her final five games with the Cardinals.

Harris played in all 38 games as a freshman and led the team in field goal percentage at 56.3% as a sophomore and 54.3% as a junior.

She was a five-star prospect out of high school and started 81 games in three seasons.

Louisville coach Jeff Walz has been candid about the transfer portal this season, and spoke about it after Louisville's loss to TCU in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday.

"We'll find out this week of who's coming back, who's not," Walz said. "It's portal season now, and it's just reality. It's one of those as a coach, you don't get too worked up. I mean, sure, I'd love for them all to stay, but I don't know if that's possible."
