Louisville | Kentucky | Indiana | Eric Crawford
The 2026 regular season begins on Friday, March 27 at Lynn Family Stadium against the Birmingham Stallions with kickoff at 8 p.m. The game will also be aired on WDRB.
Former Louisville quarterback Chris Redman will be the head coach for the Kings. Among the players selected by the Kings in the expansion draft include former Louisville star Dez Fitzpatrick and former Kentucky stars Benny Snell and Lynn Bowden Jr.
The Kings are one of three new franchises introduced for the 2026 UFL season, alongside the Columbus Aviators and Orlando Storm, becoming the city's first professional football team in decades.
Each team will play five home games and five road games over a 10-week regular season. There are no conferences. Instead, all eight teams compete in a single league table, and the top four teams will qualify for the playoffs in late May.
