LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Let loose this spring break, stay home and break some stuff.

WDRB's Keith Kaiser stopped by Smash Lab Louisville to let off some steam.

Smash Lab Louisville / Splash Lab Louisville came to be after a bad day at work.

Austin Freudenberger felt better after breaking something.

He discovered "destruction therapy," a way to release anger in a safe and controlled environment.

He quit his stressful job and opened Louisville's first rage room, Smash Lab.

Choose your weapon of destruction, golf club, baseball bat or another bludgeoning device.

Glass bottles, dishes, coffee makers, VCRs, TVs, dishwashers and more don't have a chance of making it out in one piece.

They recycle all the broken pieces and come up with new things to smash.

They also developed a more peaceful and creative outlet called Splash Lab, splatter painting for kids and adults.

Must be 16 or older to enter the rage room.

Prices starting at $20.
