Sweeten your Valentine's Day with treats, flowers, and more from Kroger

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Valentine's Day is just a few days away, do you have what you need for your loved ones?

Kroger's Keonia Masterson and Valerie Vandelinde joined WDRB Mornings on Tuesday with some treat ideas that may be on your list.

Chocolate-covered strawberries are one of the easiest treats to make with just a couple ingredients involved - fresh long-stem strawberries, melted chocolate, and a container to put them in. All of these things can be picked up at your local Kroger, or you can buy the pre-made ones if you are in a rush!

If you are making them yourself, Kroger recommends to buy the melting chocolates and to be careful when melting your chocolate, as it can be sensitive.

Kroger also has different kinds of cakes and cookies pre-made and ready to buy if your person has a sweet tooth. Choose from their colossal cupcakes, seasonal heart-shaped cakes, individual slices of strawberry cheesecake, or their new five-layer cakes.

Floral arrangements are available for purchase in the floral department. Florists will have arrangements made and ready to grab in the display case, or if there is something special you are wanting, they are also taking pre-orders.
