WEST POINT, Ky. (WDRB) -- West Point, Kentucky invites you to their River Days Festival.

WDRB's Keith Kaiser learned how you can be entertained all weekend.

After a successful event the year before, the River Days Festival is returning to West Point at the beautiful Veterans Memorial Park, right on the riverbank.

Make sure to visit the West Point Kentucky Historical Museum while you are there! Admission is free, just take money for rides and food.

The festival will include vendor booths, food trucks, live music, golf cart poker run, parade, mullet contest, big hair contest, children’s activities, a silent auction, and a fireworks show on Saturday night by Boombad Fireworks.


Thursday, Sept. 18

  • 6:00 p.m. - Golf Cart Poker Run
  • 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - Food Trucks
  • 7:30 p.m. - Carrie-oke with Carrie & Kevin Duke

Friday, Sept. 19

  • 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - Vendor Booths, Food Trucks, Silent Auction, Mini Golf & Video Games, Bouncies
  • 5:00 p.m. - Joseph Williams as Meatloaf
  • 6:00 p.m. - Mullet Contest
  • 6:30 p.m. - Big Hair Contest
  • 7:00 p.m. - Miles Apart

Saturday, Sept. 20

  • 11:00 a.m. - River Days Festival Parade
  • 12:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - Vendor Booths, Food Trucks, Silent Auction, Mini Golf & Mobile Video Games, Bouncies
  • 12:00 p.m. - Parade Awards Presentation
