LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The farm stays busy all year long at Blackacre State Nature Preserve & Historic Homestead.

WDRB's Keith Kaiser learns how you can stay busy at Blackacre.

Saturday morning farm animal feeding is where visitors get to feed the goats, sheep, and donkeys in the meadow with grain bowls.

You will learn how they care for the them and afterwards, you can explore the homestead and hike the preserve.

Blackacre is a part of the Cultural Pass, an innovative initiative to promote art and culture and improve summer learning in our community.

This winter, Blackacre has had more than 18 baby goats born with seven more goats waiting to deliver!

Weather permitting, you can participate in goat cuddle time.

It’s $10 per person and proceeds go toward Blackacre's operating costs.
