Rain and snow took over Kentuckiana this morning with heavy snow in some places. Snowfall amounts ranged from nothing to a quick coating on grassy surfaces to 3 inches! Lawrence, Jackson, & Jennings counties in Southern IN received the heaviest snowfall in our region.
Just about everyone got measurable rainfall last night or early this morning, with a heavy band moving through Kentucky just south of Louisville. Highest rainfall totals sat between .5" and 1" in the heaviest band.
Thursday Morning Snowfall
Check out the snowfall photos from across the region from early Thursday morning! It didn't stay on the ground long. Most roads cleared up before 11 AM, and the last of the snow on grassy surfaces melted early this afternoon.
