Abortion rights protesters in downtown Louisville rallied against the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade on June 24, 2022.

Hours after the decision, feelings of outrage, frustration and disappointed filled the space in front of the Gene Snyder Courthouse on Broadway in downtown Louisville where hundreds of people gathered in protest.
The decision by the court's conservative majority is expected to lead to abortion bans in roughly half the states.
