Breonna Taylor, 26, was shot to death by Louisville Metro police in the early morning hours of March 13, 2020 as they were serving a search warrant on her southwest Jefferson County apartment. Her death has sparked protests in Louisville and nationwide over police killings of African-Americans.Â
