The national social justice group held a 26-hour prayer and fast online to ask for accountability in the shooting death of Taylor.
The $12 million settlement comes while much of the country anxiously awaits an announcement on whether criminal charges will be filed against the officers involved in Taylorās death, and is the largest the city has ever paid in a lawsuit for police wrongdoing.
