LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana will be able to help even more kids thanks to a big check.
Passport by Molina Healthcare presented a check for $15,000 to the organization Friday.
Big Brothers Big Sisters provides one-on-one mentoring to local kids and includes trips to sports events, museums and more.
Friday's donation will go toward scholarships for more children to participate in the program.
"We have over 600 families who waiting to get some sort of mentorship on our waitlist right now," Gary Friedman, BBBS CEO said. "And so investments like this from Passport by Molina Healthcare enable us to again further our programs and enable us to reach more young people and their families."Â
