LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A major donation will help more Louisville families on the path to home ownership.
Delta Dental of Kentucky announced it will donate $1 million to help families in Louisville's Healthy Start Program with down payment assistance. The program works to create healthier outcomes for new mothers and their babies.
The dental insurance company pledged the donation over the next four years.
"We believe in the generational transformation that coms from owning your own home and the sense of pride and ownership that comes from that journey," said Bryan Hart, chief revenue officer at Delta Dental.
Hart said Delta Dental hopes other companies will also step up to help more families in Louisville.Â
